Corrie

Corrie is a realtor at Keller Williams and a member of NAWBO. She needed to refresh her headshots for marketing materials and business cards so we setup a basic high-key look. We would have loved to have had more time with her using different backdrops, poses and wardrobe since she would be ideal for a modeling session. Hopefully Corrie will have the time to come back to our studio in the future for a creative shoot.

Christmas Snow In NY

There is nothing like a december snowstorm in New York to get you in the mood for Christmas. Fortunately for us the timing was perfect as we arrived in NY for the holidays.

Wanting to take advantage of the newly (and still) falling snow, we trekked outside during the storm to visit some of our favorite places on Long Island. It felt like a Currier & Ives moment!

A Mother's Portrait

While visiting my family in NY for the holidays, we decided to take some portraits of my mother. Going on location to my mother's church, we were able to take advantage of some beautiful late afternoon light streaming through the stained glass windows. We all enjoyed the time we spent together and my Mom seemed to bask in the 'model' spotlight :) Since we know the emotional value of a portrait when we work with other families, this portrait session was one of the most endearing ones for us.

Family Fun

You know you're in for a treat when a family portrait for the holidays turns out to include a set of big-nose eyeglasses! As a kid those glasses used to scare the pants off of me (my grandfather had those glasses and I would go running each time he wore them). I eventually learned how to get over my fear (fortunately without any counseling :), and now it brings back fond memories of my grandfather and the great sense of humor he had. Hopefully this family will always remember these fond moments as well as captured during this fun on-location shoot.

Dena - Chat Chew & Chocolate

We were honored when we were asked by Dena Patton - founder of the very successful and inspiring Chat Chew & Chocolate women's organization - to work with her in creating images that will be used in their national marketing campaigns. Chat Chew & Chocolate is a fun gathering of women from all walks of life with an emphasis on education and events to help empower, enrich and enhance your life.
