We loved photographing Maria and Scott at their home along with their parents. Their beautiful house and backyard made the perfect setting for some portraits, and we ended as the majestic desert sunset colored the sky.

Cassady's First Christmas

I have to admit it was a lot of fun shopping for little girl's holiday dresses to add to our holiday sessions, and Cassady had the chance to model a number of the dresses for us for her Christmas portrait. We know her Mom and Dad are really excited to be celebrating their first Christmas with her!

Grace and Kate

We are so fortunate to have wonderful families that we get to work with for formal portraits. Meg and Adam are a perfect example of this as these portraits show with their adorable girls. Set in a beautiful location in Phoenix, the weather was perfect although we were constantly chased by the sprinkler systems!

Taryn and Kyanna

These two sisters were wonderful to work with and were so sweet and polite. Taryn and Kyanna added beauty to this rustic photo shoot and never once complained with all the poses and locations we took them. Fortunately it was an absolutely perfect autumn day in Arizona, and we knew it was time to pack up and head home when the full moon started to rise over the mountains just past sunset. What a view, and what a fun session!

Beautiful Ballerina Megan

Words can't describe the pure enjoyment Connie and I had in meeting Megan and having the honor to photograph this beautiful ballerina in our studio. Megan is a ballerina for Ballet Arizona, and her poise and grace match her sweet personality. Our dear friend Christina from Portraits By Christina joined us to capture these elegant images.

Having majored in dance and being a dance instructor for many years, Connie could barely contain her excitement in being back in that element. Her dance experience, along with Megan's graceful lines provided a vision for these artistic expressions.

Thank you Megan for being our muse for the evening. You are so very talented and we look forward to seeing you at the Ballet Arizona performances.

Cassady 6 Months

Can't believe how fast time flies, seems like just yesterday Cassady was in our studio for her 3 month session. It's always amazing to see how quickly children grow at this stage. Cassady is so cute and loves looking at the camera - a real natural!

1157 Promo

It's always a blast to create promos for bands. We had the band 1157 (8020records.com) in our studio to create promo shots for their upcoming CD release and tour. Addi and Family

Addi's grandmother had a picture of her and her own grandmother from years ago, and thought it would be fun to replicate the same pose now with her own granddaughter. She also brought her family so we had a wonderful time photographing Addi with her mom, dad, and grandfather as well.

Addi has such a terrific disposition and adorable face, we wanted to keep her in the studio all day! Fortunately she was back in our studio the following week and we couldn't pass up on the opportunity to photograph this cutie in some different settings.

Stacy and Family

It had been a few years since our last session with Stacy, her husband and her kids so this time we whisked them away to a different location for some family portraits set against a lake and golf course. The kids were great sports as we had them sit on gravel and climb over boulders during a hot june day. But it was worth the effort to capture some terrific images of this wonderful family.

Family Portrait at Ancala

What started out as a hot day in May (even by Phoenix standards) turned out to be a comfortable late day session on the golf course as the sun started to set. Lori, Geo and their family were wonderful to work with as we scouted out several areas of this scenic location to capture some beautiful family portraits. It was obvious how well McKenna and Griffin get along as we captured some fun poses between the two of them as well.

We knew it was time to finish up when a snake nearby decided it wanted to be in on the session as well! By then, the sun had set and the full moon was already rising (which allowed us to capture some cool images of McKenna and Griffin with the moon high above them).

Cassady - 3 Months

We always look forward to having Cassady and her mom Sara in our studio. Cassady is becoming a seasoned pro at modeling in front of the camera! She has the sweetest disposition and adorable face and we wouldn't be surprised to find her walking down the fashion runway when she gets older :)

Bonnie and Gary

When our good friends Bonnie and Gary called us to shoot an updated executive headshot for Bonnie, we had the bonus of photographing one for Gary as well. A few poses and a few glasses of wine later, and we were getting great GQ shots of Gary! (Bonnie didn't need the wine - we already had great shots of her :). They are such a great couple and fun to be around, and their couples session came out beautiful.

Denise, Steve and Kyle

We had a beautiful but very windy day to spend photographing by the golf course with Denise, Steve and Kyle along with their two adorable golden retrievers Cosmo and Uma. In between setups, the dogs got a chance to play some frisbee while we had to deal with one of the windiest days of the season - a potential photographers nightmare. But with some luck and timing, we were able to get some wonderful family portraits.
