Jeanna Maternity - 7 Months

From the moment we first met Jeanna, you could feel her excitement and joy in anticipation of the birth of her baby. At 7 months pregnant, she was at the perfect time for a maternity session and hopefully she will be able to come back for another one session a few weeks before she gives birth - showing a progression in the growth of her child.

We love shooting maternity images, and with beautiful and fun clients like Jeanna you could probably understand why.

Sedona Wedding

We've always wanted to shoot a wedding in beautiful Sedona Arizona even though we are generally not wedding photographers. So when our good friend and very talented photographer Christina from Portraits By Christina asked us if we would like to partner with her in a wedding she was photographing in Sedona last weekend we didn't have to think twice. The weather was a perfect 72 degrees with blue skies and the breathtaking surroundings complimented the beautiful bride Jessica and her handsome groom Connor.

Sara - Maternity 6 Months

We had the privilege of photographing Sara for a maternity shoot. Sara is 6 months pregnant - a little early for the typical maternity session - but Sara will be returning in her 7th and 8th month so we can create a montage of her progression. We always love doing maternity sessions, but when the mother-to-be has an infectious smile and bright personality as Sara does it seems like time just flew by.

Lee

As both a jury consultant and a Silpada Independant Representative, Lee was looking for executive headshots that represented her involvement in both industries. After creating some images for her more 'serious' career as a juror consultant, it was time to break out the jewelry and have some fun!

Click 60

The pop-punk band Click 60 was in our studio for a PR session, and these guys know how to have fun. Comprised of Dan (lead singer/guitar), Sean (drums), Ryan (guitar) and Keefer (Bass), Click 60 has opened for bands such as Maroon 5 and headlined after the band Yellowcard. They also won the Tempe Music Festival 2007 Battle Of The Bands and are currently in the recording studio working on their next release. Check them out at www.myspace.com/click60

Michael

Michael is a realtor that came into our studio for a headshot. With a variety of clothing styles, different poses, and his wonderful attitude to try different things, we captured different sides of Michael that he'll be able to use for his realtor marketing pieces as well as for his wife. What a great smile!

Compass AtoZ

Shot as part of an ad campaign for Compass AtoZ, these images will be used for their marketing pieces that proclaim 'Compass AtoZ is so easy to use, even this guy can use it'. Compass AtoZ is an online directory of businesses and events throughout the Phoenix area.

The model - Scott - was a blast to work with and a good sport considering the poses we had him do.

Lana and Natalya

A beautiful mother, a beautiful daughter, and two fun-filled hours in the studio sums up this session we had with Lana and Natalya. It's not easy being in front of the camera and lights for that long, but they took it in stride and the result will be images they will be able to cherish to years to come.

Tuscany and Venice

buon giorno! Connie and I fulfilled a lifelong dream in May by having the opportunity to spend two weeks in romantic Italy, traveling throughout the gorgeous countryside of Tuscany and then on to Venice. Words can't begin to describe the beauty of this region and the history surrounding it's hilltop villages and cities that reflect the culture and architecture of the Renaissance period. From Siena to Sam Gimignano, Montepulciano to Montalcino, and many villages in between, we viewed landscapes from sunrise to sunset that captured our hearts.

Immersing ourselves for two weeks in one area of Italy allowed us to truly appreciate it's people and way of life. We found ourselves acclimating very quickly to the italian lifestyle, enjoying a good cappuccino each morning (and afternoon, and evening!) while relaxing outside a cafe and doing our best to learn and speak italian whenever possible.

Most afternoons greated us with a thunderstorm, but that only added to the splendor of the sights and smells of the area. We watched couples huddle under umbrellas to escape the sudden downpours, 85 year old women walking up steep hillside streets oblivious to the inclement weather, and the beautiful reflections of light on the wet cobblestone streets.

With so much more to see in Italy, we look forward to returning there soon.

Theo - First Month

Maria gave birth to her beautiful baby boy on March 7th. One month later she was back in our studio with her newborn Theo for his first experience being in front of the camera. He certainly wasn't camera shy. We're looking forward to seeing Theo again in a few months and hopefully he'll be happy to see us again too!

Together For A Weekend

What do you get when you combine a family shoot of 14 people in the sun-filled desert surrounded with prickly cholla cactus? A few screams, a lot of squinting, and memories that will last forever. It was a real pleasure meeting this family that was together from all around the country for a family reunion. They were all great sports in allowing us to put them in the thick of the native desert flora in order to get some unique images that they can look back on their time together.
